The House of Democracy and Human Rights rents out rooms to organisations and initiatives. All our offices are currently occupied and there is already a long waiting list. In addition to permanent office space, we offer rooms for extra-parliamentary-political purposes, from small seminar rooms to large function rooms for up to 100 people.
A small warning: In order to keep the financial threshold for using our rooms as low as possible, we have calculated the room prices without major personnel costs on our part. However, this also means that we cannot offer individual event preparation and/or follow-up services and must rely on having rented rooms returned tidy.
No election campaign please: In order to avoid misunderstandings, we ask you to refrain from requesting rooms for party events (= events of parties and their subdivisions).
Please note that due to the current COVID-19 requirements we can only rent out to a limited extent.
Currently only the Robert-Havemann-Saal with a maximum occupancy of 20 persons and the Seminar room VH-1 for a maximum of 6 persons are available.
We comply with the official requirements to contain the Covid19 pandemic. A distance of 1.5m is guaranteed in all rooms and accesses. Freely available disinfectant is available. In Robert-Havemann-Saal entrance and exit are separated. A mouth and nose protection is to be carried along.
